Schoenbrunn Healthcare of New Philadelphia would like
to introduce our new owner, Joel Sausen. In October, 2001,
Sausen, a third generation care giver, added Schoenbrunn Healthcare
Care Center to his family's resume of top notch care facilities
throughout northeastern Ohio. A Cleveland native, Joel Sausen
is anxious to become a contributing piece of our area's
health and nursing care industry. "Our number one goal
is to take care of our residents, followed closely, by taking
care of our employees." Sausen stated upon taking ownership
of the Care Center.
Along with new ownership, Schoenbrunn Healthcare plans
to renovate throughout the interior and exterior of the
building. This includes additional lighting throughout the
facility as well as cosmetic changes to the exterior of
the Care Center. "We will hold an open house later
this year when the changes are complete. I hope everyone
in our community will take notice of this wonderful facility,
if they haven't already." Sausen said.
Changes to Schoenbrunn Healthcare will not include personnel.
"There is no need to make changes when you have the
most educated, experienced, and highly recruited staff working
for you." Sausen stated. "My goal is not to take
away from Schoenbrunn Healthcare, only to add additional
professionals to this facility". Many people are unaware
of the experience, knowledge and community leaders we have
at Schoenbrunn Healthcare.
New additions to Schoenbrunn Healthcare include Cristin Connor, Marketing
Director and Darla Carlisle, Activities Director. Connor,
a Canton native, will be heading up efforts to bring Schoenbrunn Healthcare
Center to the surrounding community as well as
maintaining and improving current relations. She will also
serve as the direct contact for Admission information. Carlisle,
a New Philadelphia native plans to bring fresh new ideas
and a local interest to her new residents at Schoenbrunn Healthcare.
She brings years of activities experience and community
involvement to the activities department at Schoenbrunn Healthcare
Care Center.
With all of this, it's not surprising that Schoenbrunn Healthcare
Care Center is well-known far beyond Tuscarawas County.
Only 30 minutes south of Canton, this 166 bed facility provides
state-of-the-art rehabilitation services with the warmth
and quality associated with the area's rich culture.
Every Schoenbrunn Healthcare resident has his or her own health care
program designed to meet specific rehabilitation and health
maintenance objectives. A team of the area's top physician's
and therapists provide regular, specialized care. In addition,
our nursing staff, dietary department and activity department
offer the daily personalized care for which our facility
has become known.
The Lifebridge Sub-Acute Unit offers high-level care similar
to many hospital intensive-care units at typically lower
cost. It's the state's most technologically advanced facility.

of highly skilled professionals meets weekly to review
each
patient's progress toward the earliest possible return
to home.
