Admission Process

After visiting or being referred to us, our admission coordinator will gather the necessary medical information and make all of the arrangements. With more complex medical requirements, a registered nurse may conduct a pre-admission assessment which includes an in-depth medical review, face-to-face interview with the patient and family and consultation with the current care providers. Call us to arrange a visit or an interview.

Welcome to Schoenbrunn Healthcare

A unique and progressive setting for complex medical and rehabilitation needs.

It's not surprising that Schoenbrunn Healthcare is well-known far beyond Tuscarawas County. Only 45 minutes south of Akron, this 166-bed facility provides state-of-the-art rehabilitation services with the warmth and quality associated with the area's rich culture.

This quality care benefits patients by providing proactive care, immediate intervention or emergent conditions and elimination of many hospital visits and their associated movement trauma.

The Lifebridge Sub-Acute Unit offers high-level care similar to many hospital intensive-care units at typically lower cost. It's the state's most technologically advanced facility. Many of its advances are focused on a "recovery with value". Most importantly, the combination of state-of-the-art technology with Schoenbrunn Healthcare's focus on personal care helps make the transition from the hospital easy.... regardless of the level of care required.
